Kolkata-700 001,

Sub: Reckless driving of Public vehicles

Sir,

Through your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the kind attention of the Government to the problems faced by commuters due to reckless driving of vehicles in our locality.

Reckless driving of public vehicles has become a phenomenon in our locality. The drivers of buses, lorries and also autos often compete with each other for overtaking and set the lives of the passengers at stake. Buses are so crowded in peak hours that some passengers have to travel on the foot board at the great risk of their life. As a result, accidents occur on daily basis. The life of the people has become very unsafe and uncertain.

So, it is high time when the Government should take prior steps to stop reckless driving of vehicles and thus ensure the safety of the passengers and the pedestrians well.

Thanking you,

                                                                                                                        Yours sincerely
